The Bible Exhibition was created more than 40 years ago, and in the intervening time has been updated and enhanced repeatedly. It tours the UK
regularly, and has even been to the Netherlands (with Dutch sub-titles added), where over 4000 people from more than 40 different countries visited it in a fortnight.
How the Bible came into existence, how it was preserved and how we came to have it in our own language, are illustrated, together with examples
of both early and modern translations. Artefacts from Bible times and illustrations of Bible lands help show the context of the Book.
The message of the Bible is summarised in an easily digested form.
Well-informed stewards will be pleased to answer any questions you may have or to provide guidance around the exhibition should you require.
